Basic Industrial Electricity:

Course hours are from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Thursday                                            4 days    $1250

This is a 4-day introductory course.  Course topics include: Basic electrical wiring, electrical safety and theory, Digital multi-meters, GFCI Circuits, lighting circuits, electro-mechanical relays, motor operation, and basic motor control.

This course provides an understanding of the principles and operation of motors, generators, transformers, and motor controls.  Topics cover the rules governing the behavior of electricity and magnetism; the machines and devices that generate, transform, and use electrical power; and the control of motors.

Reading Electrical Drawings:

This is a one day seminar designed to improve your ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical ladder diagrams.  Topics covered are electrical symbols, ladder diagram layouts, basic rules of ladder drawings, and types of control devices, differences between electromechanical and solid-state relays, and the role of the programmable controller in electrical control.
