This course is for those who are responsible for the operation and maintenance of industrial hydraulic systems. Those who wish to acquire knowledge of hydraulic systems will also benefit from this course.  Basic hydraulic principles and laws will be covered, along with detailed descriptions of the theory and operation of all essential components. Hands on exercises will be conducted using industrial grade equipment built into a training test cabinet. Various pumps will be discussed including power requirements to drive these pumps. Detailed maintenance practices directed to promote reliable equipment service is part of the presentation.  Troubleshooting and construction of basic systems are incorporated in the lab exercises.
