This introductory class is designed to give the field technician the basics on how DC motor regulators work.  The basic theory operation of DC motors, SCR packages and generators, firing circuits, Operational Amplifier circuits (Inverting, Non-inverting, Summing junctions, Integrators, and Proportional Integrators, and optical isolators are covered.  Also discussed is the theory of speed feedback, voltage feedback, current feedback, and IR compensation.
