This course is for those who have little or no working experience with ControlLogix systems and who need to interpret, make changes to, and/or draft Ladder Logic.  Participants will identify the hardware associated with a Basic ControlLogix system, create and modify an RSLogix 5000 project, establish communications with a Controller using RS-232, create and monitor Data Tags, Document and search Ladder Logic.  They will also modify and program Timers, Counters, Program Control Instructions, Compare Instructions, Compute Instructions, and Basic Math Instructions.

This course is for those who develop, debug, program or maintain ControlLogix Controllers using Function Block Diagrams, Structured Text, and/or Sequential Function Chart Programming.  Participants will create and organize a Project, communicate with local I/O.  They will create Function Block Diagrams, program Logical Function Blocks, Timer Function Blocks, Counter Function Blocks, and Analog Function Blocks.  They will also program in Structured Text and Sequential Function Chart Routines.
